This weeks find comes to you from Matalan.
It’s a challenge to find really good kids’ boots at a lower price point.
I think as a general rule you get what you pay for and you can tell when footwear, especially boots, are poorly made. So I was pleasantly surprised when I popped into Matalan a few weeks back (one of the only ‘clothes’ shops on my local high street) to pass time while my youngest was napping in the pram and spotted these embroidered beauties of a kids’ boot. They’re imitation suede but look good. Not cheap. And they have the kind of pretty, boho look that I always think gets better with a little bit of age, wear and tear. They seem to be comfortable so far – no complaints from my daughter – have a durable block sole and look good with tights or knee high socks (I’d go grey, ecru, dusty pink, burgundy or navy) and a folky, denim or whimsical dress.
They’re £15 – which for kids’ boots is GOOD – and available in infant size UK 4-12. Online now – click here to buy…
