It’s my first supermarket Find of The Week!
I wouldn’t say I a lot of my kids wardrobes are made up of supermarket brands but at the press previews I attend (where I see the collections the season before they go instore) there are always a few things from each that I make a note of. And of course they’re great for basics – most of my sons white vests and bodies are from F&F at Tesco (it’s my local).
I spotted this girls cotton check pinafore on the Tu website just after Christmas and popped to my local Sainsbury’s to have a proper look. And buy it. Though you can just order it online… (why didn’t I do that?). The price is from £10 and it’s available in sizes 9 months – 6 years. It goes up to £11 from age 2.
It’s super cute with that nostalgic sixties/seventies kids vibe we’re all loving right now. I’ll be dressing my daughter in it along with a cream, grey, black or navy turtleneck tee like this or light roll neck knit like this, wool tights (I like mp Denmark – good quality tights can make all the difference to the overall look of a slightly cheaper dress) and her brown leather Chelsea boots.
