I find kids’ jeans really difficult. And I’m not a massive fan of them for boys or girls. I prefer trousers made in softer fabrics – corduroy, jersey, cotton. Or dresses. They never quite fit right – to big around the waistband, tight to pull on, hard to pull down for emergency toilet situations. Overall a bit restrictive. The only ones I’ve really loved were some we were sent from Mads Nørgaard via Muddy Creatures once. Highly recommend them, but they’re not such a bargain.
Anyhow, the other day I popped into Primark. At 9am on a Wednesday morning before it went mental. And had a quick look around. I want to include lots of different brands in Find of the Week. Independent and high street. And I hadn’t been in Primark for ages so wanted to check out their latest offerings… and I found these perfect boho jeans (and a really good dress which I’ll show you in a couple of weeks time). They’re actually a bit more of a faded black than they look in this pic – more of a worn rocky vibe. The embroidery looks expensive. Much more expensive than the £10 price tag. The hems are unfinished. Which is a good thing. And they actually fit my daughter perfectly. She’s 3.5 but tall for her age and I bought size 3-4 years. I’m thinking with a pretty white blouse and tan leather sandals in summer it’s going to be a look. That I’d quite like to wear in my size too. For now she’ll wear with a knitted jumper and boots or these Converse.
The jeans are £10 and available in size 18 months – 7 years. Being from Primark you can’t buy them online but they are instore now! Click on the pic below to go to their website and find your nearest one…
