OCHRE IS MY FAVOURITE COLOUR

Is it weird that my new favourite colour is one I can barely pronounce?

To quote wikipedia: ochre ranges in colour from yellow to deep orange or brown. So maybe it’s more a palette than a specific shade?

Mustard, rust, rich yellow hues and burnt orange. I’m feeling them all for autumn/winter. And most of the new season purchases I’ve already made or plan to are in these tones. They just feel SO right as we head into autumn. Cosy, warm, with a Bohemian, free spirited vibe for little wildlings and especially beautiful in knitwear, corduroy and velvet. They make me want to run around the woods and build dens with messy plaits in hair…

So I’ve put together a little edit of my favourite ochre buys for boys, girls and baby. Click on the pic to go straight to the product on the retailers website to buy.

I am the same – I basically made my daughter live in this colour until she started school! It’s gorgeous! I found your blog via the #bibs shortlist – good luck!
