Worth the shipping charges…

I love to shop local and support British brands. I also love the high street. But there’s something really special about having something shipped to you from another country. Having to pay shipping is the big annoyance but there are a few brands I rate so highly that I’m willing to do so. These are those special three. The quality is superb, the styles are perfectly timeless. They last. They’re keepsake items that you’ll treasure long after your child outgrows them.

I think you might like them too…

They’re also very pretty to follow on instagram!

Yearling by Dôen
LA based Dôen is a women’s label making wearable pieces for everyday inspired by vintage designs. I covet many of their pieces for myself each season but limit myself to one or two. Yearling is the kidswear collection with the same vibe and is equally as covetable. Beware it sells out fast so buy your favourites as soon as you see them.

Innika Choo Kids
A summer holiday favourite of many fashion industry folk, Bali-based Innika Choo is known and loved for her women’s and children’s beautiful smockery. It does have stockists in the UK and Ibiza but the best and biggest selection is still on the main website…

Babaà Knitwear
A Spanish family label making quality knitwear for everyday use. Timeless simple, mostly unisex styles in perfect muted shades that can be passed down and pulled out year after year. Again they also make adult styles which are very lovely too. One of my go-to places for great knitwear.
